The jagged edge you
Straddle along the boundary
Of right and wrong when
Your sweat runs smooth as silver
Never to reside on one

  1. I’m so glad you followed me because it gave me a great opportunity to experience your work.

The first line is ambiguous for me, so I tried to understand it in different ways. I like this and the way it has a sort of haiku feel. You now have my attention.

  2. Lovely Tanka. I liked this very much. I have not written one in a long while.

  3. Wow, you cram a lot into a few lines.

  4. The jagged edge you
    are sketched in lines
    Straddle along the boundary
    where nothing remains permanent
    Of right and wrong when
you step beyond the comfortable script
Your sweat runs smooth as silver
    discovering free-falling trumps comproming
    Never to reside on one
    edge
nor the other but both is skintillating

  7. Wonderfully done. I love how the poem runs smoothly and every word is carefully intertwined with the images it provokes.
